At Masala Kraft, we showcase Indian street food such as Bhel, chats, dosas and more, served fresh daily from our contemporary restaurant located in the heart of Hartsdale, NY. With twenty-five years of experience in perfecting recipes and mastering the craft of Indian cooking, we have been able to achieve our dream of opening and running a Bombay bistro that brings the savory and classical tastes of India all the way to NY.
Our hearts is set on creating a new age café that blends the exotic experience of authentic Indian delicacies and local cuisine. Today we offer Indian specialities such as toasted sandwiches, dosas and samosas all of which can be enjoyed from the setting of our comfortable and contemporary dine in space. We also offer daily thali specials every day of the week.
Jasumati Vaghji - Owner and Chief Chef
Jasumati Vaghji has been a very passionate North Indian cook all her life. She has been cooking up North Indian dishes for all her family at her home. She grew up in London where her family currently resides. She has extensive experience in working at restaurants in London. After coming to the US, she gathered experience working in Connecticut in the restaurant industry. She wanted to extend her love for home cooking to all around her. This prompted her to take up Masala Kraft Cafe in Hartsdale. She does home cooking at her best.

Rajni Menon - Head of Marketing/PR
Rajni Menon was born in Kerala, South India - a state well known for its tourist destination and famous for backwaters, Ayurvedic treatments and tropical greenery. She is fascinated by the variety of colors and design found in art, clothing and food. Her love of food started in a very early age and is a very passionate South Indian cook herself.
She came in as Marketing head at Masala Kraft Cafe. She is also an Electrical Engineer as well as a Textile designer and have an Associates Textile design degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology, NY.
Currently she teaches Cooking classes, Textile design painting classes and Oil painting classes at the cafe on Tuesdays. She is also seen at the front of the house at the cafe.
